Location This attractive Edwardian country house hotel is set in secluded gardens and is only a short drive from the city centre. The Ellersly House Hotel has retained its tranquil setting and ambiance in the suburbs of Edinburgh. Rooms Adding originality and charm to the hotel, the 57 comfortable and spacious guest rooms are well equipped and immaculately furnished catering to all the details that one looks for. Restaurant The hotel has a comfortable cocktail bar and a restaurant overlooking private gardens with a reputation for its fine cuisine. General Guests travelling on official matters can make use of the conference facilities provided by the hotel. Note As of 1st December 2007, development of residential accommodation will start in the rear car park and gardens, which are no longer controlled by the hotel. The building works might operate between 7am and 4pm Mon-Friday and will run for the remaining 12 months. The bedrooms to the rear of the hotel will have obstructed views and the private gardens to the rear of the hotel will no longer be able to be used by hotel guests. This will also affect parking at the hotel, so car parking will be limited to the front car park only. All the bedrooms have a private en suite bathroom.
